Obviously AutoTroll uses the internet for most of its functions. AT is smart enough to use an internet connection if it exists (for example, you dialed into your ISP while AT is running in the background) - but it's more convenient to be able to set times you want AT to dial and to hang up.
You can set as many of these "connection windows" as you wish throughout the week / day. Be warned, however, these settings are very important!! Consider this example: You've set up one of your games to host at 1:00am. You aren't on a LAN, so you choose to use RDS below. But for your connection window, you remember to make AutoTroll connect on the host day, but not until 3:00am. What is the result? The game will not host until it has one last check of mail. But it can't check mail when it's not connected. So, it sits and waits until it can check mail which will be either when you get up in the middle of the night and connect your computer to the internet, or until the connection time you set at 3:00am. The short of it is, ensure your hosting times correspond to your hosting times!
Use LAN Connection
This will use your LAN (Local Area Network) to connect to the internet. With this option checked, the rest of the options on this page do not matter.
Use Remoate Dialing Service
Specify this if you want AutoTroll to use your system's dial-up networking abilities to connect to the internet. The below options are only valid if you Use Remote Dialing Service.
Connect At

Hang Up
This defines the time AutoTroll will hangup / disconnect your internet connection. The hangup time must be on the same day as the dial time, that is you can't dial before midnight and hang up after midnight. Note: AutoTroll will only disconnect if it is the one who initiated the inetnet connection. If you or another program causes the internet connection, then it is up to you or that other program to disconnect.
